Logitech has revealed Mac-friendly versions of some of its most popular wireless accessories.
The MX Mechanical Mini, MX Master 3S, Lift, and K380 will now be available in a Mac version, which the company says will work seamlessly with Apple’s macOS ecosystem.
Two keyboards (MX Mechanical Mini and K380) now have modified special keys, containing Mac-specific command (⌘) and option (⌥) keys. Logitech has also introduced a number of macOS-specific shortcut keys, such as Mission Control and Launchpad.
Mac friendly
Logitech keyboards also receive updated color schemes to match the aesthetics of the Mac.
“We know Apple users value consistent design aesthetics throughout their setup – at work or at home – and that they need mice and keyboards that work in their ecosystems,” said Delphine Donné, vice president and general manager of Creativity and Productivity at the company Logitech.
“We’ve created a set of stylish tools to enhance the way you work by adding more functionality, customization and comfort, and because we know one size doesn’t fit all, this collection has been designed, engineered and engineered to meet the diverse needs of Apple users.”
Two mice (MX Master 3S and Lift) are now available in Apple-friendly color schemes, meaning users can match their accessories with the rest of the Apple ecosystem. They can be mixed and matched with keyboards, but Logitech will offer specific pairs: the MX Master 3S pairs with the MX Mechanical Mini and the Lift pairs with the K380.
Designed for Mac
The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac is basically the same keyboard as the MX Mechanical Mini, released earlier this year, except for the space gray and light gray color choices and the Mac keycaps.
The MX Master 3S for Mac, now available in space gray and light gray, is designed to perfectly match the MX Mechanical Mini. This mouse does not differ in functionality from the recently released MX Master 3S or the updated mouse business kit.
The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac and MX Master 3S for Mac are available for purchase in the new, combined “Performance Duo Designed for Mac” bundle on the Logitech website.
Lift for Mac is again a color-updated, Mac-specific version of an already released Lift device. Apart from the new light gray color and the “For Mac” badge, there are no other differences between this mouse and the previous version.
The K380 For Mac has an updated berry color scheme to match the new iMac purple and is still available in off-white and pink. The keyboard also has Mac-specific keys, as does the new MX Mechanical Mini for Mac. Apart from these two Mac updates, this keyboard is the same as the previous K380 model.
All of these Mac devices are available now. MX Mechanical Mini for Mac is available for $ 149.99 (£ 149.99), MX Master 3S for Mac is available for $ 99.99 (£ 119.99), Lift for Mac is available for $ 69.99 (£ 69.99) and the K380 for Mac is available for $ 39.99 (£ 39.99 – £ 44.99 depending on color).
